This Proposal is being released by the County of Brant to retain an Environmental Consulting Firm with a variety of expertise to provide peer review services, on an as need basis, when complex development applications are proposed within and/or adjacent to natural heritage and hydrologic features, areas, and systems. 

In summary, the role of the peer reviewer is to provide expertise on terms of references, ensure the completeness and accuracy of submitted technical information and studies in the area of expertise, provide recommendations on the acceptability of the proposal and any additional preservation, mitigation and enhancements that should be required for the proposal. The peer reviewer will assist the County in evaluation of the application and supporting studies and provide recommendations for additional work/studies and/or deficiencies in data collection and evaluation.
